Monkey Island: Cliffhanger

SPOILERS FOR TALES OF MONKEY ISLAND: LAUNCH OF THE SCREAMING NARWHAL HERE!


Still here? Good! Anyway here's my little take on the debate about LoTSN's cliffhanger ending. Obviously the mystery swordsperson is Morgan LeFlay but I don't think he/she/it is a new character because then there'd be no point in hiding their face.

The three theories I hear is that it's Carla, it's Kate Capsize from Monkey Island 2, or it's Wally.

Carla because she might still be bitter at Guybrush over the whole Monkey Island business but the problem with the theory is that Guybrush offered her and Otis cushy government jobs in Monkey 4. Then again for all we know there could've been some bizarre legal reason for Carla not getting the job.

Kate Capsize because Guybrush framed her to get Governor Phatt and his goon off his trail and she ended up going to jail. However some people think it can't be her because she wasn't that big of a character in Monkey 2.

And Wally which some people think that way because the POV of the person holding the sword looks like it's from someone shorter than Guybrush. The problem is that the voice is obviously female and even if it was Wally and Telltale couldn't get his VA from Curse, I'm sure they could have found someone who would provide a wimpy sounding voice while still sounding like a boy.

Now I acknowledge that there are some mistakes and this comic proves why I should never ever try to draw pirate hats again but I still like it. Oh if anyone has trouble reading some of the dialouge, please tell me, I add the lines to the description.
